Pattern
This pattern is a one row repeat. The turning chain does not count as a stitch.
Foundation row: Chain any number of even stitches.
R1: Starting from the second chain on your hook, sc into the chain. dc into the same space. Skip the next chain. Repeat *sc and dc in same space, skip the next* until the last chain. sc into the very last chain. ch1, turn.
R2: sc into the very first stitch. dc into the same stitch. Skip the next. Repeat *sc and dc in same stitch, skip the next* until the last chain. sc into the very last chain. ch1, turn.
Repeat R2 until your project is at the required size.
Helpful Tips

- When starting out, it can be quite easy to miss the last stitch. Stitch markers are great to mark the end of your row!
- You will always be working the sc, dc clusters into the top of the sc stitches in the row below. You can tell where these are as the sc “v”s look smaller than the dc “v”s.
